I was a bit hesitant to eat at Kanin Club because of the loooong list waiting to be seated. Mom, however, insisted. Despite of us being number 23, we still waited... And I had no regrets! except for my tummy which is complaining right now!! It can't breathe anymore!! Well, I can't blame it... We ordered five dishes. First of which is our appetizer- Green mango salad with salted egg! Smells like what we used to make in the province!! The cilantro is perfect with it. We tried to eat it tiny portions at a time because we like it as accompaniment to fried fish, which we ordered next... Binukadkad na Tilapia. As the name implies, the deep fried tilapia is "binukadkad" meaning "fully opened" like a rose blossom does when it is in full bloom. This made the presentation perfect, not your usual deep fried whole fish just sitting on the plate.
